On a personal level I wasn’t happy with my physique, I was coming up to an age where it was important to make different life choices and invest in myself to ensure my body was in the best condition. I’ve had to deal with persistent knee and shoulder issues for some years now, so it was imperative I strengthen these areas.

Before training with Hiren, I struggled to stick to a plan. I found it boring and pointless tracking my lifts and was much more of a ‘freestyler’ when it came to the gym. hiren helped me set up a foundation as a lifter and have opened my eyes to a new training method that is time effective and can achieve great results. He has helped me increase my confidence in my physique and has been very motivating in helping me achieve my goal. To lose the amount of fat I did in the timeframe given wouldn’t have been possible by myself.

At first I wasn’t too sure, there are a lot of personal trainers in the industry that have previously not help me reach my targets. I initially began working with Hiren as, having trained for a number of years prior, found my results in the gym beginning to stagnate. 

With that, much of my motivation had begun to decline. As a result, training became less and less of a priority, and results came to a halt, if not sliding backwards. Upon realising this, I consulted with Hiren in the hopes that we would be able to not only get me back to peak shape, but surpass my previous limitations and make further progress from there.

Hiren has a passion for lifting weights and this comes through in his coaching system. He has a rigorous understanding of the protocols necessary to maximise training results, knowing best how to modulate periodization variables (such as volume and intensity) to keep progress consistent. But more importantly, he knows how to deviate from strict guidelines in order to maximise results for his clients.

For example, we have been able to tailor nutrition regimes and training modalities during more difficult time periods (such as exam seasons, intense work periods or injuries), tapering when necessary so that we can eventually “make hay when the sun shines”, so to speak. In this way, he also knows when to push his clients to achieve their best, and hold the reigns when they are not ready.

Hiren is a fantastic coach and I would gladly recommend his services for anyone wishing to gain muscle and strength as quickly as possible. His charisma and love for training make the whole process very easy!
